How much is Reunion going to cost and how do I pay?
$50/person (kids are free)
You can
pay online
or mail your payment (link coming soon!).
There are other optional events
and reunion gear available as well.
Many will tell you that reunion is the best part of being
alumni. Reunion is held in Houghton over a long weekend
every five year (next reunion is in 2005). Pre-registration
and a reunion fee are required to help pay for food, events,
and other activities. Most alumni also bring their families
along, including children.
In addition to parties and family picnics (and the great
Copper Country Cruise) the Alumni Association holds a
business meeting to discuss and vote on various issues and
elect the e-board. (This is a closed meeting for Alumni only)

How much are dues and how do I pay?
Dues are $30. You can pay online or mail your payment. Visit the
Dues page.
They
can be paid anytime although we prefer to receive them in January. Additional donations are always appreciated. A member of the Alpha Delta Alpha sorority will always be recognized as Alpha Delta Alpha Alumni upon leaving Michigan Tech, regardless of the circumstances.
What's the deal with the Newsletter?
The Alumni Association e-board secretary published the
Whiskey Words newsletter several times each year. We try
to have diverse content in the newsletter, which means we
need help from Alumni. You may be asked to write an article
or
do an interview, and if you have information you'd like to
include in the newsletter please do not hesitate to submit it
to
Terri Williams Ellinger or
Lisa Negro Franke,
co-secretaries.
E-Board Meetings?
In addition to the Reunion business meeting, the Alumni
Association e-board meets each year over Winter Carnival.
Other alumni are encouraged to attend. The active sorority
President and
Liaison (to the Alumni Association) also attend
these meetings.
Scholarship?
Alumni are encouraged to donate to the scholarship fund
that has been set up for the active sorority. The suggested
donation is $25/year. This scholarship is given to an active
member who participates in activities and is enrolled at
Michigan Tech.
Not only does the scholarship help support one of our sisters
still in school but it is also a tool that the sorority uses to
encourage new membership. This alumni-sponsored
scholarship shows potential Alpha Delta Alphas that their
sisters continue to lend a hand even after they leave
Michigan Tech.
Donations to this scholarship can be paid online. For more
information, contact Natalie Vanderwyst.
Other events?
There are numerous other events at which alumni get
together, such as in Houghton for Homecoming (October),
Winter Carnival (February), and Senior Walk (May), as well
as places where multiple alumni live, such as downstate MI.
